The Chicago Auto Show started this weekend and we were there for the press preview day before it began. This is the first major U.S. auto show in over a year, the last one being, you guessed it, the Chicago show in February of 2020.

Moving to a one-time summer format means that some of the show is outdoors and there is a lot to see and do. Here’s our quick rundown of what to see there.

Kristin and I talk about the Chicago Auto Show, what we saw, and why auto shows are awesome for consumers. Looking to buy a car? Wondering what the latest technologies are? Wondering who’s making what kind of vehicle now? Love old cars and weird one-off museum pieces? All of that and more are at the auto show!

What’s at the Houston Auto Show this year? Here’s a taste. Automotive shows are about more than just supercars and hot rods, though that is always a great feature. They’re about consumer experience. Think of the auto show as an easier (indoor) way to walk down dealership row and see everything available to you, but without any pushy salespeople. So head on out and get your auto on at the Houston Auto Show!
